“It’s wonderful to be able to think with a clear mind, my energy level has increased and my digestive system is back to normal. I am 66 years old now and haven’t felt this good in years.”

At the age of 38, I was diagnosed as having Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) by an endocrinologist. My symptoms were rapid heart beat and breathing, shakiness of hands and extreme warmth, even thought it was mid-winter.

By drinking a milder form of radioactive iodine, the endocrinologist was able to determine how much of this iodine my thyroid absorbed. The endocrinologist, after this test, was able to determine how much radioactive iodine was needed to bring my thyroid back to its normal functioning level.

At this time, I was worried about the side effects of the treatment mentioned, but I was also concerned about the damage to my heart if left untreated. I finally consented to the treatment.

Gradually, during the next 2 years after treatment, I become under active. The symptoms were a decrease in metabolism, my skin became thick, puffy and dry, and my mental and physical reactions slowed down. This was treated with thyroid extract which I would have to take for the rest of my life.

Dr. Timothy Yeh was treating my daughter for Multiple Sclerosis. I decided to have a analysis done on myself and Dr. Yeh found a hormonal imbalance. In September of 1990, Dr. Yeh started acupuncture, herbal treatments and a strict diet. After a month, I discontinued taking my thyroid medication.

I can’t believe the difference now. It’s wonderful to be able to think with a clear mind, my energy level has increased and my digestive system is back to normal. I am 66 years old now and haven’t felt this good in years. Thank you Drs. Pearl and Timothy Yeh for your compassion, caring and gentle nature. Your knowledge has made me a true believer of Natural Medicine.

I have recommended Dr. Yeh to several of my friends and family members.

I would also like to thank Dr. Yeh for his success, so far, in treating my daughter’s Multiple Sclerosis.

In April 1999, my husband took me to the emergency room. My heart rate was at 138 with sinus tachycardia. After the diagnosis of hyperthyroidism was made, I was put on thyroid suppression medication on April 7, 1999. I was constantly out of breath. I couldn’t even climb a flight of stairs without stopping to catch my breath. I was very edgy and any little thing set me off. I was always tired and my heart raced constantly.

I sought the medical help of an acupuncturist (a different doctor – not at Yeh Center), while at the same time took the drug medications. I was on propurthyroucil, which lowered my immune system, lowered my libido, and I had a bitter taste in my mouth. The results were not good and I was getting worse. The medication did not help. The drug doctor then wanted to give me a chemotherapy pill to kill the thyroid in January 2000.

It was then that I decided to come to the Yeh Center of Natural Medicine. My mother read about Dr. Yeh’s clinic in the newspaper and urged me to seek treatment. I did not firmly believe in natural medicine, but was desperate and ready to try almost anything. After a consultation with Dr. Yeh, I was given acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition guidelines, dietary guidelines and herbal capsules. I started feeling better almost immediately. After the first two months, my medication was cut in ? Then one month later ? And one month later none at all.

I have much more energy, and I have more patience with my children, husband and others. I am more relaxed and have more energy to play with my kids. I now can run up a flight of stairs without being out of breath. In addition, I have maintained a perfect weight, where before, I had trouble putting weight on. My family and I now have improved our quality of life by eating better and healthier.

It has been a hard struggle due to the endocrine system being a difficult system to heal. In modern drug medicine, hyperthyroidism is an illness that is not normally healed. More often than not the thyroid is killed by radiation or removed, which will put the patient on drug medications for the rest of their life. For this reason, natural medicine was the only other option.

I am very happy with the results, and I truly believe there is no better from of medicine. I have told everyone I know about the Yeh Center. You have nothing to lose in trying natural medicine, you only have something to gain. There are no side effects ? Only a healthy life. The staff is very kind and courteous and I would highly recommend the treatments. I thank God I found Dr Yeh before modern medicine could convince me to kill the thyroid. I will be forever grateful!

Sincerely,
T.F.

“The endocrinologist said that he had never seen anyone improve so rapidly from this condition.”

To Whom it May Concern:

I have been working as a Senior Special Investigator for approximately nine years. I have been responsible for investigating complaints against physicians and surgeons, as well as other allied health practitioners. Understandably, because of my experience investigating patients’ complaints, I have personally attempted to become a better informed consumer, cases of gross negligence and/or incompetence, I feel more strongly than ever that I have a responsibility to myself to ensure and participate and explore medical treatment modalities that would be the most effective for me in maintaining my health. Whenever possible, I have attempted to avoid using drugs, except when absolutely necessary and under the care of a physician, to resolve a medical problem.

Approximately five years ago, after completing an investigation in Upland area, I decided to go into the Yeh Center of Natural Medicine to see what they had to offer. I immediately became curious and intrigued by the hundreds of apothecary jars containing herbs, flowers, beans, plant barks, seeds, etc. Dr. Timothy Yeh explained to me some of the healing properties of the herbs, etc. He discussed his work with acupuncture and acupressure and indicated that he had formerly been a medical doctor in China who had become reluctant to use and treat patients using drug and narcotic modalities. I told Dr. Yeh that I was in good health, but that if I ever became ill, I would certainly consider his services.

Approximately April, 1986, I hurt my sacroiliac joint while weight training. I went to my doctor at Kaiser-Permanente, who suggested that I take muscle relaxants and pain-killers for the pain. I tried them for a short period of time, but did not like the side-effects and was also concerned about the long-range effects of the drugs. I decided to just take aspirin and let the pain, hopefully, subside naturally and over time. I finally went to a Chiropractor and was able to get some pain relief for a few weeks at a time. However, I needed to continually return for treatments. Any exercising only further aggravated the condition. I finally decided to try acupuncture.

It was approximately one year after my injury that I saw Dr. Yeh. On my first visit he used two acupuncture needles near the area causing me pain. I felt no pain from the needles, and when I left I could feel that the pain had remitted considerably. I continued treatments for a month or two and to this date I have never had a recurrence of the pain or condition. I am also able to exercise and resume my weight lifting training.

Since that time Dr. Yeh has successfully treated me for painful menstrual cramps (Dysmenorrhea), cystic acne, bladder infections, and the flu.

About a year and one-half ago I began to lose weight rapidly, became very weak and dizzy, experienced rapid heartbeats, was unable to sleep, and became easily exhausted. My physician told me that he believed that the left side of my thyroid had become hyperactive and enlarged and that I might require thyroid surgery or radiation treatments (and have to take thyroid medications for the rest of my life). An endocrinologist performed tests and confirmed my physician’s findings. They insisted that it was the left side of my thyroid and expressed the opinion that there was no other cure for this problem.

I immediately went to see Dr. Yeh. Dr. Yeh used his analysis program on me, one that he invented, and told me that the computer printout showed that it the right side of my thyroid that was enlarged, not the left. He palpitated the thyroid and told me that it was soft and that he recommended that I not have surgery or radiation, but rather use the herbs and acupuncture to see if the condition would improve. I continued to receive treatments from Dr. Yeh for a few months as well as being followed by an endocrinologist.

Later, I was assigned to see another endocrinology specialist who, upon examining me and the results of the nuclear scan, confirmed Dr. Yeh’s findings that it was in fact the right side of my thyroid that was enlarged. New blood tests were taken at Kaiser, which showed that my thyroid functioning was returning to normal. The endocrinologist said that he believed that I had contracted a virus that had affected my thyroid-possibly subacute thyroiditis or Dr. Quervan’s Disease. He said that he had never seen anyone improve so rapidly from this condition. I told him that I was getting acupuncture and herbal treatments. He said that he couldn’t believe that that would help — I suggested to him that he explain to me what had prompted the rapid recovery since he “had never seen anyone improve so rapidly from this condition.” He did not comment.

I have referred several friends and acquaintances to Drs. Timothy and Pearl Yeh. I have found their integrity and dedication to their patients beyond reproach. I plan to make acupuncture and herbal treatments a part of my personal health regime for the rest of my life.

I want to emphatically stress that this testimonial is based on my own subjective experiences and beliefs. I am, however, thankful and blessed by having both Dr. Timothy and Pearl Yeh as a part of my life and health experience.

52LBS LIGHTER AND WHOLE LOT HEATHIER HYPERTHYROIDISM IS TREATABLE NATURALLY!

In May of 1994, I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I had digestive problems, headaches, loss of hair, and memory loss. Other symptoms included hemorrhaging, rapid weight gain, fatigue, insomnia, problems swallowing, and large tumors on the throat. I had a lot of depression and problems socializing because I never felt good. I had difficulty concentrating on work and retaining information. I cried daily due to the pain.

I sought the help of different medical treatments. I was put on Synthroid, which gave me lots of side effects including mood swings, fatigue, hair loss, and weight gain. I was then given Paxel to help relieve the symptoms of the Synthroid. I had a hysterectomy in August 2000. I tried Jenny Craig and even received psychological counseling. The treatment results were very poor and I felt like suicide.

On May 1, 2001, I came to the Yeh Center of Natural Medicine because the doctors said that they could no longer help me. Dr. Yeh treated me with acupuncture, herbal medicine and dietary guidelines. I was not a believer in natural medicine and I was concerned about it being related to scientology or buddhism. But I soon learned how God had intended for my body to heal itself and that I didn’t need drugs or surgery as my own choice for getting better.

Within the first week, I could sleep through the night. After the first month, I could eat 3 meals a day without throwing up. After the second month of treatment, I lost a total of 52 pounds. I have no more tumors, my energy has increased, and I can handle all aspects of my life. The quality of my life has improved and most of all I have comfort and peace!! Now my whole family has changed their diet and it has increased our faith in God and brought back joy again.

The acupuncture is painless and effective, the herbal medicine is safe and effective, the nutrition classes – well you are what you eat! The Yeh way is the only way, God’s way. The staff at Yeh Center is dedicated and kind and spiritually they were also very wise and helped me to understand God’s healing. The medical staff is knowledgeable and experienced and takes quality time with me to make sure my needs are met. I am happy with the results and have referred my best friend here.

Not only is Dr. Yeh a great doctor, he is my natural medicine dad and even though I am moving to Maui, I will have my herbs mailed and will fly here every 6 months for a recheck. Thank you everyone.

Sincerely,
W.D.

CRISIS SURVIVOR

I was first diagnosed with thyroid crisis or hyperthyroidism in 2003. I have severe tremors, inability to walk and eat, high blood pressure, palpitations, general weakness, fatigue and sweating to name a few. Before I came to the Yeh Center, I was taking anti hypertensive medication for my thyroid gland once a day and Atenolol twice a day. The thyroid medicine made my voice hoarse and the Atenolol dropped my BP too low.

I went to see Dr. Yeh in October of 2005. I am already a firm believer of natural medicine before. Because I believed that God has plans and provisions for the way we should care for our bodies. For the first 6 months of treatment, I felt no change. The succeeding 6 months, there was time that I feel better alternating times of feeling ill. But at the end of this 6 months period, my blood test have been normal and great ever since. I noticed my skin clearing up; my hair stopped thinning, no more colds and flu.

The staff was caring, professional and knowledgeable. I am pleased with the results of my treatment. Now I can go running with my husband in the morning and can take long hours of walking and feel great.

Sincerely,
Valdene W.
